The Hudson County Office of Emergency Management is advising residents that heavy rain and strong winds are predicted for this evening.  Winds gusts of up to 45 MPH are anticipated.

The Office of Emergency Management encourages residents to secure loose objects outside or bring them inside, especially off balconies. Outdoor tents should be taken down depending on wind load.

Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, resulting in power outages.

Please report power outages and downed wires to PSEG at https://nj.myaccount.pseg.com/myservicepublic/outagepublic.

In Hoboken, recycling collection will occur as scheduled. Residents are reminded to secure their cardboard. Cardboard must be flatted and bundled in a cardboard box, tied with string, or put in a blue covered bin and placed at the curb after 7:30 pm, or after 9 pm in the Limited Business Area.
