Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival: An Overview

Today, the city of Hoboken is hosting its annual Fall Arts & Music Festival. The event is scheduled to take place on Washington Street, extending from Observer Highway to Seventh Street, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The festival aims to showcase a diverse range of art, crafts, and unique products from various vendors. Attendees can expect to see a variety of items, from handcrafted jewelry to original artwork, displayed along the street.

In addition to the visual arts, the festival has organized musical performances on two separate stages. The Observer Highway Stage will feature acts such as the Karyn Kuhl Gang, Lenny Kaye’s Nuggets Golden Jubilee Band, The Bongos, and the headlining band, The Feelies. The Seventh Street Stage will host performances from artists like Jax Zilla, Melanie Murray, Allison Strong, Zydeco Revelators, Gene D. Plumber with Ed Fogarty and Friends, Widley Grown, and Frankie Morales and the Mambo of the Times Orchestra.

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla stated that the festival provides an opportunity for the community to come together and appreciate the arts and music. He encouraged residents and visitors to attend and explore the offerings.

For logistical purposes, Washington Street will be closed to parking and vehicular traffic between Observer Highway and Eighth Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The New Jersey Transit #126 bus will also be rerouted during the festival hours.
