An alleged knife attack on Bloomfield Street in Hoboken on Saturday morning at 7:23 has resulted in the arrest of 31-year old, Christopher Vasquez of Hoboken.

According to a police report, officers responded to 201 Bloomfield Street after receiving a call that a man was bleeding and screaming for help.  Upon their arrival, police found a male victim bleeding from a puncture wound to his left forearm and a laceration on the top of his right wrist.

The victim told police was walking with the actor, who allegedly got into an argument with him, pulled a knife and assaulted him with the weapon.  The attacker was not at the scene when police got there.

The victim was transported to Hoboken University Medical Center for treatment.  An investigation by detectives throughout the day led to the arrest of the alleged attacker, although a search did not recover the knife.

Vasquez has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, endangering an injured victim, tampering with physical evidence and refusal to submit to fingerprinting.

Police also learned Vasquez, who is being housed in the Hudson County Jail in Kearny, was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in Hoboken Municipal Court and a warrant out of New York City.  That resulted in the additional charge of being a fugitive.
