A Hoboken man known to the Police was arrested on September 5th and found with CDS after Police was executing an Open Warrant.
23-year-old Josh Lessane was charged with Failure to Appear Warrant from Jersey City, Possession of CDS Marijuana, Possession with intent to distribute, Possession with intent to distribute within 1000 ft school zone, Possession of CDs with intent to distribute within 500 Feet public housing, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
According to Hoboken Police, Det. Jonathan Mecka and Po Michael Losurdo, while patrolling the Hoboken Housing area, observed the defendant walking in area of 3rd Jackson Street. Armed with knowledge of an open warrant, Det. Mecka requested back up in order to affect the arrest. Back up arrives and the defendant was advised of the open warrant and was placed under arrest.
A search of his person revealed (17) zip lock type bags of suspected CDS Marijuana, 3 Large sandwich type bag with suspected CDS Marijuana, several empty zip lock type bags used to package CDS Marijuana and $43.00 in us currency believed to be proceeds from sales of CDS.
He was remanded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail with 10% option.
