Hoboken’s Park Avenue to Host Law Enforcement Training
HOBOKEN, NJ
– Residents and visitors of Hoboken should be prepared for heightened law enforcement activities around the Park Avenue corridor next week. Authorities have scheduled comprehensive training exercises that will see a surge in police personnel in the vicinity.

This collaborative exercise will involve the Hoboken Police Department, the elite Hudson County SWAT Team, and staff from the United Synagogue of Hoboken. The aim of these exercises is to hone the skills and coordination of local security forces, ensuring a safer environment for the community.

As a result, Park Avenue, specifically between First and Second Streets, will be out of bounds for vehicles on Monday, August 7, and Tuesday, August 8. These exercises are scheduled to run from 8 AM to 4 PM on both days at the address 115 Park Ave.

Local drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes and avoid this segment of Park Avenue to prevent any inconveniences. While the drills might cause some short-term disruptions, the commitment to community safety remains paramount.
