The Hoboken Police Department and the Mile Square community are in mourning, as the Department announced the unexpected passing of veteran officer Frank Francolino. The announcement was made on social media earlier today.
“It is with profound sadness that HPD announces the unexpected death of PO Frank Francolino who passed away at home while off-duty today.”
Francolino joined the police force in January, 2008.
The post continued, “We ask all to keep the Francolino family in your thoughts, prayers & hearts. Please respect their privacy as they mourn this unimaginable loss.”
