Officers Involved: PO Sam Williams, Po Luke Zezsotarski, PO William Bullock, PO Ryan Houghton
While patrolling the Hoboken Housing area, Officers Williams and Houghton observed defendant Hosein enter 320 Jackson Street. Hosein is not a resident of the Housing Authority and had been warned in the past about trespassing on housing property. The officers entered the building to conduct a check when they observed Hosein and another male, Albert Morales, now exiting the building. Aware both males were trespassing, they ordered them to stop. Defendant Morales complied while Hosein ignored their commands and fled the scene. A brief foot chase occurred and he was apprehended a short distance away in the area of 301 Jackson Street by Officers Zezsotarski with the assistance of PO Bullock. Prior to stopping Hosein, they observed him discard several items later determined to be (80) bags of suspected CDS Heroin. A check of his person also found him to be in possession of an additional (10) bags of suspected CDS Heroin along with over $300 dollars in us currency believed to be proceeds from sales of CDS Heroin. In total over (90) bags of suspected CDS Heroin were seized from defendant Hosein with a street value of over $700.00. A warrant complaint was generated and he was later remanded to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Center. Defendant Morales was given a summons for Trespassing and released.
