Hoboken Police: Man hospitalized after being attacked by a Group of People, Guttenberg Couple arrested

During the early morning hours of Tuesday February 5th, 2019, Uniformed Officers were dispatched to the area of 11th Adams Street on a report of a male calling for help. Officers respond to find the victim had already been transported to Hoboken University Medical Center. While at the hospital, officers spoke with the victim who confirmed he had been attacked by a group in the area.

The attack was not random and the victim was familiar with the assailants. Detectives immediately responded to the scene and followed up with the investigation. At this time, two have been charged with the attack and are currently being processed for the crimes committed. They are an adult male and female who reside in the City of Guttenberg. The crimes they have been charged with range from Aggravated Assault, Endangering an Injured Victim and Weapons Offenses. They will be remanded to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Center once fully processed.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Detectives and future charges are pending for other individuals who may have been involved.
