The Hoboken Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying four persons of interest in an assault against a woman which took place on Halloween night at approximately 9 o’clock. According to a press release from the city, the assault occurred on the 50 block of Washington Street, as the woman was walking northbound.
The victim told police that an unidentified individual, wearing all red, ran directly into her and struck her, possibly on purpose. The victim was knocked down causing injuries to her mouth and knee. The assailant, and three other individuals, ran from the scene.
The press release states, “A follow-up investigation, led by Det. Paul Quinn, has identified four individuals of interest. The main suspect is believed to have been wearing a “Deadpool” costume or hoodie and a dark colored face mask. He now faces charges of aggravated assault, due to the extent of the victim’s injuries.”

The other individuals being sought appear to be young adults and were wearing the following:

Black pants and a gray sweatshirt

White pants, black sweatshirt, and a ski-mask
