Hudson County Sheriff’s Office Releases Photos Of Vehicles Suspected in Hit & Run. (Hudson County, NJ) – After reviewing surveillance footage from the areas surrounding the location where Ayako Okabe, age 30, was struck and killed in a hit & run accident, Hudson County Sheriff Frank X. Schillari released the photos of two cars suspected to be involved.
“We are asking the help of the public and the media to solve this case,” said Sheriff Schillari. “We have two suspect vehicles we are seeking information on. The first we believe to be a red and silver/chrome food truck with white writing on the front doors. The second is a small, four door dark color car.”
“Anyone that may have been in the area of Routes 1&9 between Duncan and Sip Avenues at the time of 6:35 pm until 6:46 pm on Thursday 2/20, we ask that you please step forward,” said Schillari
