Bayonne Man Arrested for Series of Thefts and Burglaries

Bayonne, NJ – James Bostic, a 42-year-old resident of Avenue C in Bayonne, has been arrested in connection with multiple thefts and burglaries spanning over a year.

Bostic was taken into custody at 9 am on 09/27/2023 after evidence linked him to three past-reported incidents. During his arrest at his residence, officers discovered several items that matched the description of stolen goods from previous reports.

One such incident occurred on 05/02/2022 when a local resident reported losing his wallet around 42nd Street and Broadway. Surveillance footage from the area captured an individual, later identified as Bostic, picking up the wallet. A credit card from this wallet was subsequently found at Bostic’s residence, leading to his charge for credit card theft.

In a separate incident on 08/23/2023, Bostic was identified as the individual who broke into a parked vehicle, removing personal property. This led to charges of burglary and theft against him.

Additionally, an e-bike, which was reported stolen earlier, was recovered from Bostic’s home on 09/27/2023. He had previously been charged with the theft of the e-bike, and on 10/05/2023, he faced additional charges for receiving stolen property.
