JERSEY CITY – In a bid to promote local produce and support community farmers, Jersey City has announced its Farmers’ Markets schedule for 2023. Under the banner “BUY FRESH BUY LOCAL,” residents are encouraged to find and enjoy local foods, fostering a healthier community.

Here’s a rundown of the Farmers’ Markets across various neighborhoods:

  1. Hamilton Park:
    • Dates: May 3rd through December 20th
    • Time: Wednesdays, 4 pm – 7 pm
    • Location: 8th Street between McWilliams Place & West Hamilton Place
    • Sponsored by: Hamilton Park Neighborhood Association
  2. Historic Downtown SID:
    • Dates: April 24th through December 21st
    • Time: Mondays & Thursdays, 4 pm – 8 pm
    • Location: Grove Street PATH Station & the Newark Pedestrian Mall

  3. Journal Square:
    • Dates: May 30th through November 28th
    • Time: Tuesdays, 12 pm – 6 pm
