Jersey City man arrested for disorderly conduct in Kearny Municipal Court

KEARNY – A Jersey City man was arrested after causing several disruptions in the Kearny Municipal Court on February 19th at around 11:15 a.m, officials said.

Officer Jack Grimm was assigned to patrol Kearny Municipal Court where he observed a man acting “loud and boisterous” while court was in session, according to police reports. He made several inappropriate remarks towards the municipal prosecutor. Officer Grimm warned the man that he would need to stop or he would be removed. Within two minutes the man began playing a music video with profanity loudly on his phone. He was cautioned by Officer Grimm a second time. A minute later the man began shouting “f…,” according to police reports.

Vanquan Rush, 30 of Jersey City, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
