Members of the Jersey City Police Department S.W.A.T. Unit, armed with automatic weapons and shields, responded to a report of an armed, suicidal male at 89 Wayne Street just before 9 am on Monday, January 27. Upon arrival at the scene, police secured the area.
One, unidentified male was taken to a local hospital for evaluation without incident.
No injuries were reported during the incident, which was first reported by the Jersey City Times on Monday morning.
