Jersey City woman arrested after taking a parked cab for a joyride from ADA’s Taxi headquarters

On September 18th around 2.30am Police received a call of a stolen taxi in the area of Paterson Plank Road in North Bergen. According to Police the car engine was running and the taxi unattended when the incident occurred. The vehicle was recovered the following day at the Howard Johnson Hotel.

Through investigative leads Police was able to identify 30-year-old Natasha Murado as the author of the stolen taxi. She was arrested on a warrant while walking in the area of 500 Summit Avenue in Union City.

Ms Murado was charged with committing theft by knowingly receiving movable property.
