Jitney drivers charged with skipping out on $57K in tolls

Rainy Bekhit, of Bayonne and Carlos Rojas of Paterson

Weehawken, NJ .- Two habitual toll evaders are arrested by Port Authority cops in Weehawken.

Jitney drivers Rainy Bekhit, of Bayonne and Carlos Rojas, of Paterson like to drive through the tolls without paying.

Officers Nick D’Agostino and Mike Fusco caught up with the two and busted them
at the Lincoln Tunnel.

Bekhit was exiting the center tube in a white Chevy bus going westbound when
he was pulled over by D’Agostino. Further investigation verified the 41-year-old owed more than $26,350 in tolls and fees from 323 violations.
