Tennis, soccer, basketball, arts and crafts and so much more. They’re all part of Weehawken’s Summer Recreation Program for kids and adults.
Hundreds of kids signed up for this summer’s recreation program. The programs run through the middle of August at the waterfront complex, parks around the township and in the public schools.
The various programs are free for township residents. In addition to the athletic programs and camps, there are concerts throughout the summer, as well as field trips.
The instructors for the various programs and clinics are familiar to township residents, as the majority are employees of the local school district. The summer rec programs will conclude on August 15th.
