Anthony Dragona, a distinguished educator and school business administrator for more than four decades has been named President of the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International, effective March 1.

Since 1998, Dragona has served as Union City School District’s Business Administrator and in 2006 added interim Board Secretary to his list of responsibilities.

He served on and chaired a variety of committees for both ASBO International and New Jersey ASBO, and has presented workshops at both the state and national level.

Dragona is excited to assume his new position and expand his contributions to professional development.

“I look forward to the opportunity to help guide the association in fulfilling its mission of advocating for school business officials and the students they serve,” Dragona says.

ASBO International has 5,000 members spanning 18 countries, and 58 affiliates that represent more than 42,000 school business officials.
