Man Arrested After Gunpoint Robbery For iPhone 5


NORTH BERGEN – North Bergen police got a hit on the Hudson County Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) device last week which lead to the arrest of a man involved in a robbery in December, officials said.

Edwin Guerrero, 25 of Roselle Park, was arrested at his residence on February 12, 2015, at around 5:50 p.m. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on December 12, 2014 where Guerrero allegedly robbed an 18 year old at gunpoint for his iPhone 5 that he advertised to sell on Facebook, officials said.

Guerrero was charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. His bail set at $50,000 with no 10% option.
