Man Charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child

Moses Ventura (33) of Garfield NJ has been charged with Aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child according to Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.

Dumont Police Department and Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office interviewed a seventeen (17) year old female victim who alleged that Mr. Ventura engaged in sexual conduct with the victim when the victim was under the age of thirteen in Dumont, New Jersey.

As a result of the investigation, the suspect was arrested on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Paramus, New Jersey and charged with two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, one count of Sexual Assault by Sexual Contact, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The suspect was lodged in the Bergen County Jail pending his arraignment.
