On Sept 30th approx. 4:13pm in the area of 68th and Kennedy Blvd a male was arrested (Elbin Rodriguez age 22 of South Ozone Park NY).
The victim parked his Ford Pickup truck and went inside Dunkin Donuts and then to Dairy Queen, when he returned to his vehicle he observed the Actor taking one of his bicycles off the bike rack that was attached to the rear of his truck. The victim ran towards the actor and shouted “What are you doing” in an attempt to stop him. The actor then engaged the victim in a physical confrontation and the actor then took out a Milwaukee brand knife from his outer garments and proceeded to stab the victim on the area of his left torso. The victim sustained non life threatening injuries listed as a cut to his chest, scrapes to his back and head and minor cuts to his hand. There were 2 bystanders who assisted the victim by wrestling the knife away from the actor.
Actor was charged with Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Actor was transferred to the Hudson County jail.
