Man uses stolen credit card to buy computers

Secaucus Police say a Philadelphia man was arrested after he tried to buy pricey technology for free.

Marven Marcellus, 27, went to the Best Buy on 925 Paterson Plank Road to pick up a pair of MacBook Pros he purchased online with a fraudulent credit card.

The laptops were worth more than $4000.

Marcellus was charged with criminal attempt to commit theft by deception and criminal attempt to commit credit card fraud.

He had two active warrants at the time of his arrest.

Marcellus’ bail was set at $20,000 with a 10-percent cash option.
