North Bergen Public Library inaugurated its new quiet room, a room that will also serve to tell the history of North Bergen, on October 11th of 2016.  The mayor described some of the ways that North Bergen had changed over the years, which included the separation of the neighboring towns of Union City, West New York, Secaucus, and parts of West Hoboken. A city rich with history, this room will serve not only as a quiet space for residents to read but also as a reminder of how North Bergen began.
