New Hope for Kearny Residents Affected by Sandy.
On Tuesday night, March 11th at the Kearny Council meeting, residents learned there may be new hope for those affected by hurricane Sandy. At the meeting Ana Quintela, the Excutive Director of the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation, explained that funds were available to Kearny residents. These funds are not only for residents directly affected by flooding, but also those who were put out of work due to Sandy’s aftermath.
