New Jersey Resident Wins $50,000 in Powerball; Jackpot Soars to $672 Million
TRENTON, Sept. 19, 2023 – A fortunate New Jersey player has secured a prize of $50,000 in the recent Powerball drawing. The drawing, which took place on Monday, September 18, revealed the winning numbers as 02, 21, 26, 40, and 42, with the Red Power Ball number being 09 and a Power Play multiplier of 3X.
Despite the significant win, the Powerball jackpot continues to grow, now standing at a staggering $672 million. The next opportunity for hopeful participants will be on Wednesday, September 20, at 10:59 pm.
In addition to the main Powerball draw, the Double Play drawing also took place for those who had opted for the feature on their tickets. The winning numbers for this draw were 03, 07, 41, 48, and 67, with the Double Play Ball number being 14.
