News Update: Wanted Individual identified and arrested, North Bergen Police says

Juan Perez-Pantaleon a 22 yr old black male from 76th st in North Bergen was arrested by the North Bergen Police Department on 10/15/2014 at Police Headquarters and charged with Robbery, Possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and unlawful possession of a weapon. His bail was set at $75,000.00 no 10% by Judge Royster. Mr Perez-Pantaleon was transfered to the Hudson County Jail.

Mr Perez-Pantaleon was observed acting in a suspicous manner on 72nd st and Bergenline Ave. Police Officers Corless and K Rodriguez stopped him to investigate at approximately 7:00 p.m.. They immediately saw that he matched the description of the composite sketch released. Mr Perez-Pantaleon agreed to come into HQ where he subsequently confessed to the Park Ave robbery. The investigation is continuing to determine his involvement in other robberies.

No weapons were recovered at this time, actor stated he discarded the knife after the robbery.

North Bergen Police Chief Robert Dowd added; “This was an excellent job by all those involved. We were aided in this investigation by the NJ State Police through a sketch artist they provided, excellent and vigilant police work by the patrol officers on the street, and extensive follow up and investigation which led to a stationhouse confession obtain by Det. Maldonado.”


  1. I believe that the North Bergen detective bureau had nothing to do with the arrest of this individual there was three officers whose names I will withhold did the apprehension what the hell is the township telling the news media now???

    • That’s my boyfriend , and he was wrong in every way to do something like that and I don’t condone that at all . I’m very upset with him when I found out what he had done
