NJ Man Arrested in Hoboken For DWI & Driving the Wrong Way

Vasilis Psoras, a 39-year old from Woodhaven, New Jersey, was arrested early on Saturday morning by Hoboken Police for DWI and driving the wrong way on a one way street.  According to Hoboken Police Detective / Lieutenant Danilo Cabrera, Psoras was arrested at 90 Hudson Street at about 3:51 AM.

Cabrera says on Saturday, June 26 at about 3:51 AM, Sergeant Roary Miller observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Hudson Street from Hudson Place. Sergeant Miller conducted a motor vehicle stop. Upon speaking to the driver, Sgt. Miller suspected he was under the influence of an intoxicant.

Officer Ricky Truppner responded and conducted a standardized field sobriety test on the operator. The operator was identified as Psoras.  Officer Truppner concluded that Psoras was unable to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner. As a result, Psoras was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.

He was transported to police headquarters, where he refused to provide breath samples for chemical testing. Psoras was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to chemical testing, reckless driving, and going the wrong way on a one way street.

Psoras was released to a responsible party.  He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of a law.
