NJTransit Donates $79,450 For Senior Citizens and Disabled Residents Transportations Assistance Program

Hudson County- The Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders accepted additional funds from New Jersey Transit Corporation for Senior Citizens and Disabled Residents Transportation Assistance Program for 2019, totaling $79,450.

These funds will provide transportation services to eligible senior citizens and disabled residents living in Hudson County. These services include: transportation to medical appointments, recreational activities, nutrition sites, educational experiences and certain employment locations.

Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders are committed to providing the resources needed to assist the senior citizens and disabled residents of Hudson County.
