North Bergen to Commemorate 9/11 with Memorial Ceremony at River View Park
NORTH BERGEN, NJ – The Township of North Bergen has announced its plans to hold the annual 9/11 memorial ceremony this coming Monday, September 11, 2023. The solemn event is set to take place at River View Park, located at the intersection of Boulevard East and 79th Street, right by the 9/11 monument.
The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m., aims to honor and remember the lives lost during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The township has extended an invitation to the general public, encouraging residents and visitors alike to join in the commemoration.
A notable lineup of attendees is expected, including Mayor Nicholas J Sacco, various commissioners, administrators, and members of the police force, among other officials.
