Halloween for North Bergen kids is just around the corner. Thanks to Wal-Mart and NB Cares, children who might not have had a costume for the spooky holiday will now have one.

On Wednesday, October 10th at the North Bergen Recreation Center on Meadowview Avenue, children and their families were able to pick out a free costume.  All their parents had to do was show proof of township residency. This is the fourth year in a row NB Cares has held the costume giveaway.

The Township will be holding two Halloween events later this month. The first is on Saturday, October 27th between 1 and 3 pm.  It’s called Trunk or Treat…Yes, Trunk or Treat. It will be held at the Recreation Center. To register, just call (201) 392-0229.  The second event also takes place at the Rec Center.  It’s the annual Halloween Parade and it will be held on Halloween Day.
