It’s an annual event to raise awareness and funds to fight colorectal cancer.
And Bob Ceragno again hosted the charity fundraiser at his Eye Contact Vision Center in North Bergen.
The cancer survivor says he couldn’t be more excited to have everybody there and he’s happy to be around to take part.
It was a packed house with 91 police officers who came away clean shaven.
Colorectal cancer is preventable if caught early enough. But one in three adults over 50 are not getting screened.
“(I want) to make people aware of how important it is to be screened,” Ceragno says.
The Fire Officers Union presented him with a check for $5,000 towards cancer research.
And it gets even better…
“I think that we’re going to be reaching over the $20,000 mark (in total) just with this event, Ceragno says.
