Report: Secaucus Cub Scouts kick out 8 year old transgender "boy"

Pack 87 Website

The Secaucus Cub Scouts have kicked out an eight year old girl, who identifies as a boy and is considered by his mother to be transgender.

The child, whom HudsonTV will not name despite being identified by full name in NorthJersey.com where this story first ran, was participating in the Cub Scout pack until the discovery of his gender.

While the Boy Scouts (the group for boys aged 11 and older) have a policy on sexual orientation, here the issue is different, centering around gender identity.

Stay tuned to HudsonTV for more details as they develop.
