In an email received by Hudson TV from Bayonne spokesman Joe Ryan, the salary range changes are the result of a reorganizing of the Finance Department.
Ryan stated, “Most of the items in the executive order are the result of reorganizing the Finance Department following the retirement of Treasurer Janet Convery. As a result of her retirement, various already existing people moved up the ladder and responsibilities were reorganized. The Fiscal Analyst was hired as a result of the retirement and the reorganization. The Personnel Technician, an already existing employee, received a raise. The Assistant Supervisor –Garage Services, an already existing employee, was given a raise in recognition of his responsibilities.”
Tonight’s Council meeting gets underway at 7 o’clock.
