?Community Alert? Several local NJ residents have fallen victim to a “Grandparent” style scam. A law enforcement impersonator will call claiming your family member is under arrest and bail money is required and request payment using gift cards or money transfers.
Please note the police requires bail payments to be made in person at a police station. We will never request or accept payments made with gift cards, money transfers, or through any mobile application.
