Science Communication Lab Names JMSA Biology Teacher Ambassador

Dr. Natalia Coleman, a biology teacher at Union City’s Jose Marti STEM Academy, who has 30 years of academic accomplishments as a college professor and cancer researcher, has been named an ambassador by the non-profit Science Communication Lab, which is based in San Francisco.

Born and raised in Kazakhstan, Coleman has worked at the Jose Marti STEM Academy for three years.  During her professional career, Coleman has numerous articles and book chapters published dealing with cancer biology, science education, research and curriculum development.
Coleman is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Education.  She will present her research at the Science Communication Lab conference being held this coming November in Dallas, Texas.
