The Town of Secaucus has announced how its municipal swimming pool will operate this summer amid all of the concern for the coronavirus.
The Secaucus Swim Club will be opening on Monday, June 22. Get ready for some changes. First and foremost, only Secaucus residents will be allowed to use the pool. If you cannot show proof of residency at the entrance, you will not be allowed in. Even family members or friends who live out of town will not be permitted inside.
Everyone will have their temperature checked before being permitted inside. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 F will be turned away.
Strict capacity limits are going to be enforced. Only 180 people inside at any time. As a result, you must make a reservation before going to the pool on Community Pass. This must be done one day in advance.
The town will begin taking reservations at 9 a.m. until capacity is reached. If you aren’t registered on Community Pass, you must create an account. Just visit www.secaucusrecreation.org/hom
Any person over the age of two must wear a mask when inside the locker room, the bathroom or when ordering food.
