  1. On November 20th at 03:15pm, Kearny PD had in their custody, 46yo male from Newark NJ, Keith M. Thomas. Thomas was said to have an active warrant out of Secaucus in the amount of $200.00. Thomas was said to also have stolen property on his person, which consisted of (1) package of Dove Men Care deodorant, (1) package of Trojan Magnum condoms, (1) package of Degree deodorant. Thomas was charged with Receiving Stolen Property. Bail was set at $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Thomas was remanded to the Hudson County Jail.
  2. On November 21st at 08:17am, during a motor vehicle stop in the area of 20 Meadowlands Parkway for maintenance of lamps, obstructed view, 31yo female from Union City NJ, Brenda V. Hernandez was arrested. Hernandez was said to have an active warrant out of Cranford in the amount of $279.00 and a $195.00 warrant out of Cranford. Hernandez was issued motor vehicle summonses consisting of maintenance of lamps, obstruction of view, driving while suspended, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, and driving while unlicensed.
  3. On November 21st at 01:09pm, Officers arrested 32yo male from Jersey City NJ, Larry L. Townes. Townes had an active warrant out of Jersey City, NJ. Townes was arrested in the area of 100 Metro Way. Jersey City PD later took custody of Townes.
  4. On November 22nd at 02:41pm, Officers dispatched to the 600th block of 4th Street on a report of suspicious solicitors, arrested 36yo male from Brooklyn NY, Jeton Capric. Capric was arrested after it was learned that he had an active warrant out of West Orange in the amount of $100.00. Capric’s bail was posted and he was released.
  5. On November 22nd at 10:07pm, at the Marshall’s department store, 61yo female from Alexandria VA, Marion R. Denson was arrested. Denson allegedly shoplifted a $6.00 household item. Denson was arrested for an active warrant out of Ridgewood NJ in the amount of $37.00. No criminal charges were pursued regarding the alleged shoplifting incident. Bail was posted and Denson was later released.
  6. On November 24th at 04:42am, during a motor vehicle stop in the area of 674 Golden Avenue, 23yo male from Secaucus NJ, Casey C. Quinones was arrested. Quinones was charged with DWI and reckless driving. Quinones was processed and released.
  7. On November 23rd at 11:33am, Officers checking on a suspicious vehicle in the area of Huber Street/Koelle Blvd, conducted a motor vehicle stop. 37yo male from San Antonio TX, Felipe V. Martinez was arrested during the stop. The vehicle Martinez was driving was stolen and he was allegedly in possession of Burglary Tools and knives. Martinez was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Burglar Tools, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful purpose. Motor vehicle summonses were also issued Driving without a License, Driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Maintenance of Lamps, Safety Glass Requirement, and improper display. Bail was set at $75,000 cash only.
  8. On November 25th at 01:41pm, at the Walmart, 36yo male from Teaneck NJ, Rodney K. Bennet Jr was arrested. Bennet was charged with Shoplifting after he allegedly shop lifted a Playstation 4 console and four video games, totaling $438.76. Bennet was charged processed and released on a summons returnable to CJP in Jersey City.
  9. On November 26th at 05:29pm, at the Walmart, 27yo female from Ridgefield NJ, Danielle R. Marttine was arrested. Marttine allegedly shop lifted $597.82 worth of clothing. Marttine had active warrants out of Elmwood Park in the amount of $300.00 and also an active Bergen County Sherriff’s Department warrant with a no bail option. No criminal charges were pursue by Walmart. Bergen County Sheriff’s Office took custody of Marttine.
  10. On November 25th at 07:36pm, at TJ Maxx, 57yo female from Jersey City NJ, Veronica F. Merrill was arrested. Merrill allegedly shop lifted six winter coats totaling over $200.00 all while cutting off security wires on the coats. Merrill also had an active warrant out of Hoboken in the amount of $175.00. Merrill was charged with Shoplifting, Possession of Anti-Shoplifting Devices. Merrill was issued a summons and released to Hoboken PD.
