Here is the week’s police blotter from the Secaucus Police Department:

 

Blotter 10/19/2020-10/25/2020

  • On 10/19/2020 at 4:00 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old female, Avery Meyer of Hewitt, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ramsey, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option.  Mr. Meyer was also issued 3 motor vehicle summonses.  Officer’s from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Meyer for transport back to their authority.
  • On 10/20/2020 at 4:05 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24 year old male, Mecca Bonds of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(3)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to Distribute [2C:36-3].  Mr. Bonds was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/21/2020 at 9:04 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Ahmed Khalifa of Secaucus, NJ for 2 counts of Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(3)], 2 counts of Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of CDS believed to be Clonazepam [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Clonazepam [2C:35-5B(13)].  Mr. Khalifa was served his complaint warrant along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/22/2020 at 1:53 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43 year old female, Silvia Loyola of Montville, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50].  Ms. Loyola was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 4 additional motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
  • On 10/22/2020 at 3:25 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Freddy Polanco of the Bronx, NY for Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to Promethazine with Codeine [2C:35-5B(4)], Possession of CDS believed to be Promethazine with Codeine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], Money Laundering [2C:21-25A], Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)], Trafficking in Personal Identifying Information of Another [2C:21-17.3B(1)] and 25 counts of Receiving Stolen Property, Gift Cards [2C:20-7A(1)].  Mr. Polanco was issued his complaint warrant along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On 10/22/2020 at 4:13 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24 year old male, Quacie Lyken of Elizabeth, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2].  Mr. Lyken was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/22/2020 at 9:30 PM, In an ongoing effort to reduce vice related crimes in the Town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrest of a 20 year old female, Nathaly Rodriguez-Ortiz of Trenton, NJ for Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)].  Ms. Rodriguez-Ortiz was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.           
  • On 10/23/2020 at 1:04 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old male, Khaseem Parker of Garfield, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)].  Mr. Parker was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On 10/23/2020 at 11:25 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35 year old male, Jason Pollard of Hackensack, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-10A(1)].  Mr. Pollard was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fairview, NJ in the amount of $200.00.  Mr. Pollard was able to post bail for the involved warrant.  Mr. Pollard was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/23/2020 at 10:59 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Tyquan McClary of the Bronx, NY, a 23 year old male, Jose Sosa of the Bronx, NY, a 21 year old male, Christopher Gregory of the Bronx, NY and a 24 year old male, Brandon Rice Thompson of the Bronx, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)].  Mr. McClary was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.  Mr. Gregory was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.  Both Mr. Sosa and Mr. Rice Thompson were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
  • On 10/25/2020 at 3:17 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Sunoco Gas Station located at 249 Route 3 East on a report of a fight in progress. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, David Yantin of Worcester, MA for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2].  Mr. Yantin was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.     
  • On 10/25/2020 at 2:56 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old female, Krystal Gonzalez of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $250.00.  Ms. Gonzalez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.   

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
