Secaucus Police Report: A Week of Arrests, Outstanding Warrants, and DWIs

SECAUCUS, NJ – The Secaucus Police Department has released its blotter for the week of 09/11/2023 to 09/17/2023, revealing a series of arrests and incidents.

Crystal Latimer’s Arrest at 101 Plaza Centre Road In the early hours of 09/11/2023, officers observed a vehicle improperly parked in the fire zone at 101 Plaza Centre Road. Their investigation led to the arrest of 38-year-old Crystal Latimer of Jersey City, NJ, on an outstanding NCIC warrant from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. With no bail set, Latimer was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

Dasjon Simpson’s Multiple Warrants During a traffic stop on the morning of 09/11, 31-year-old Dasjon Simpson of Newark, NJ, was taken into custody. Simpson faced multiple outstanding warrants from various cities, including Newark and Union. Despite the hefty amounts, he was released on his own recognizance pending future court dates.

Troy Huff’s Secaucus Warrant On 09/12, Secaucus Police traveled to the Neptune Police Department to arrest 52-year-old Troy Huff of Asbury Park, NJ. Huff had an outstanding warrant from Secaucus amounting to $2,500. Unable to post bail, he was taken to the Hudson County Jail.

Orkidia Rojas’s DWI and Assault Charges In an incident on 09/13, Orkidia Rojas of Bayonne was arrested during a traffic stop. The 43-year-old faced charges including Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. Additionally, Rojas had an outstanding warrant from West New York, leading to her transfer to the West New York Police Department.

Fredis Avila-Vasquez’s Parking Violation Leads to Arrest On the evening of 09/13, a vehicle improperly parked near Third Street and Pandolfi Avenue caught the attention of Secaucus officers. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Fredis Avila-Vasquez of Union City, NJ, for an outstanding North Bergen warrant. After posting bail, Avila-Vasquez was released.

Latasha Moreno’s Traffic Stop Arrest Early on 09/14, 29-year-old Latasha Moreno of Jersey City was arrested during a traffic stop. Moreno had an outstanding Parsippany warrant but was released on her own recognizance, pending a future court date.

Clark Orsawolf’s Theft at Walmart On 09/15, officers responded to a theft report at Walmart on 400 Park Plaza Drive. The investigation led to the arrest of 71-year-old Clark Orsawolf of Union City, NJ, on charges including Theft and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

Kevin Dadaille’s Multiple Warrants Later that day, during a traffic stop, 45-year-old Kevin Dadaille of Brooklyn, NY, was arrested. Dadaille faced multiple NCIC warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

Michael Donatoni’s Shoplifting Incident On the evening of 09/15, officers responded to a shoplifting report at T.J. Maxx on Millcreek Drive. The suspect, 36-year-old Michael Donatoni of Paterson, NJ, was arrested on charges including Shoplifting and drug possession.

Samantha Stankiewicz’s Outstanding Warrants In the early hours of 09/16, a traffic stop led to the arrest of 26-year-old Samantha Stankiewicz of Jersey City. Stankiewicz had multiple outstanding warrants but was released on her own recognizance for some, while posting bail for others.

Eric Davis’s DWI Incident on Topsail Lane On 09/17, officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the water on Topsail Lane. The driver, 44-year-old Eric Davis of Secaucus, was arrested for DWI and possession of a toxic chemical. After being issued his summonses, Davis was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
