“I would like to offer my deep condolences to the family members of the fallen Dallas Police Officers and all of the Dallas Police Department. Police Officers across the country risk their lives everyday to protect ours and I am very grateful for the selfless service of the men and women of the North Bergen Police Department and for the close relationship they have managed to build with the community of North Bergen. I am a firm believer in Police Departments building strong bonds with the communities they serve and only through dialogue, tolerance, respect and everyday positive interactions tragedies, such as what occurred in Dallas, may be avoided.”
