The Hudson County Community College Foundation held its 26th annual gala on Thursday night. The fundraiser highlighted the success of the college’s Culinary Institute.
In addition to highlighting the college’s Culinary Arts Institute, Thursday’s gala was a 40 year celebration of the Community College and its numerous programs…nursing, S.T.E.M. and the arts, just to name a few. The event also served as a fundraiser, the most successful ever, with two $50,000 gifts to the Foundation.
All of the funds raised go to scholarships for HCCC’s students. In addition to witnessing culinary arts students prepare all kinds of cuisine, guests were greeted upon arrival by a female acrobat hanging high above the entrance lobby.
Several hundred donors attended Thursday’s gala.
