Jersey City, NJ,- Another Sexual Assault Incident has been posted by the Hudson County Prosecutor Office in the last hour., with this new incident there are now four sexual assaults reported in the last 3 days.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, at approximately 8:50 a.m., members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to a residence in Jersey City on a report of a sexual assault. Responding police officers received a report from a 25-year-old Jersey City woman that she was sexually assaulted shortly after 7:15 a.m. The alleged sexual assault occurred at an unknown location in Jersey City after accepting a ride from an unknown male as she traveled from Hoboken to her residence in Jersey City.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit is actively investigating this case with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department. No arrests have been made at this time. On Saturday, June 29, 2019, shortly after 4:00 a.m., members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to a report of a sexual assault that occurred at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 540 Washington Blvd. in Jersey City.
Responding police officers found a 21-year-old female from Jersey City who reported that she was sexually assaulted a short time after 2:30 a.m. by an unknown male she met earlier that evening in Newark.
On Monday, July 1, 2019, shortly after 1:00 a.m., a Jersey City Police Department patrol unit was alerted to an injured female in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Stevens Avenue in Jersey City.
The woman, a 25-year-old from Bayonne, sustained a laceration on her neck and hand. She was treated at the scene by the responding officers and Emergency Medical Services before being transported to Jersey City Medical Center.
The initial investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Jersey City Police Department revealed that the woman and the alleged male suspect had agreed to have consensual sex at an unknown location in Jersey City. This allegedly led to an argument, an alleged sexual assault and an assault with a knife.
On the same day shortly after 2:40 a.m., Jersey City Police Officers responded to a report of sexual assault in the area of Westside Avenue and Union Street in Jersey City. Responding police officers found a woman in that area who alleged that she was a victim of a sexual assault. The woman was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center for medical attention.
The initial investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Jersey City Police Department revealed that the woman, a 27-year-old from Jersey City, had contact with a man on Westside Avenue who offered to give her a ride home. After following him on foot to an unknown area, the man allegedly used a knife to hold her and sexually assault her.
This was the second sexual assault reported on July 1, 2019, involving a weapon identified as a knife. Detectives are actively investigating all cases.
