Three Victims assaulted with bottles at The Hub in Hoboken

During the early morning hours on Sunday July 22nd, 2018, Officers responded to “The Hub” which is located at 16 Hudson Place on a report of an assault. Sergeant Charles Kucz along with Det. Anthony Caruso and the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance arrived on the scene. The officers were met by the three victims who stated that they were assaulted as they were being escorted outside of the establishment.

The first victim was struck with a bottle which was thrown in their direction sustaining a cut to the back of the neck area and on top of the head. The second victim was struck with a fist above the left eye causing pain and swelling. The final victim was also struck with a bottle and sustained injury to the upper lip causing pain and swelling. All the victims were treated on scene and refused further follow up treatment.

The suspected person was no longer on scene and no arrest has been made at this time but the suspect was described as a Hispanic male with curly dark hair and a mustache wearing a black Adidas brand jumpsuit with a white stripe on the back. He was also in the company of two females.
