Delays into New York of over 90 minutes are reported and residual delays may still be huge, after an early morning car crash shut down New Jersey-bound traffic on the lower level of the George Washington Bridge.

New York-bound traffic is severely backed up because of “rubberneckers” looking at the mangled wreckage of at least one car. Three people are reported injured, two critically.

Delays to the GWB in New York are also huge, with miles-long backups on both the westbound Cross Bronx Expressway and Major Deegan Parkway.
