Two 18-year-old males arrested in Connection with Man Stabbed 10 times in Hoboken

Arrestee#2: Santos Gonzalez age 18 Guttenberg NJ

Charges: Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy, Endangering an Injured Victim

Incident Details: At approximately 12:20 am, uniformed Officers were dispatched to the area of 11th Adams Street on a report of a male screaming for help. Officers were later able to locate the victim at the Hoboken University Medical Center. Officers spoke to the victim who advised them he was attacked by a group in the area of 11th Clinton Street. He was able to flee to the area towards 11th and Adams Street where he was located by friends and transported to the hospital.  He sustained approximately (10) stab wounds to different parts of his body. The victim explained he was lured into the area by a former acquaintance when he was approached from behind by a group of (3) males. As the victim attempted to flee, he was tripped and fell to the ground. Defendant Alexis Angulo began to stab the victim repeatedly with a knife causing the injuries. All parties fled the scene and left the area.

Detectives were immediately notified of the incident and began investigating the matter.  Their investigation led them to the two defendants who they believed were involved in the attack. Detectives, along with members of the Guttenberg Police Department, located the defendants and placed them under arrest. They were transported to Hoboken Police Department where they were processed and charged with the offenses. They were later remanded to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Center.  Investigation still under way and other parties are being actively sought to explain their roles in this matter.
