A 54-year-old township man was arrested after buying coke on a West New York street, then admitted his wrongdoing and said, “I want to go home.”
Guillermo Benitez bought $50 worth of cocaine from Dorka Nova-Frometa of Palisades Park in her car parked on 62nd and Jefferson Street.
Inside the blue Nissan Altima, police found 73 baggies of cocaine, $1,684 and a can of “Mentos” on the driver’s side door panel.
Nova-Frometa was charged with multiple drug offenses, including distribution of cocaine within 500 feet of public housing, distribution of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of cocaine, distribution of cocaine and a summons for CDS in a motor vehicle.
At the time of her arrest, the 29-year-old had two outstanding contempt of court warrants out of Palisades Park.
Benitez was charged with possession of cocaine.

Nova-Frometa’s bail was set at $50,000 with no 10-percent option. The bail for Benitez was set at $50,000 with a 10-percent option, police said.
