80 Union City youngsters registered for Saturday’s Back to School Health Fair at Union City High School. The event, co-sponsored by the Board of Education and North Hudson Community Action Corporation, provided immunizations and health check ups for students as classes are about to begin in two weeks.
In addition to providing physicals and immunizations, various community vendors were on hand to provide information about their services.
The Union City Medical Department’s nurses and doctors provided the examinations. Any students unable to attend Saturday’s event will be able to schedule a back to school physical at another time, either at the High School medical office or at one of North Hudson Community Action Corporation’s locations in Hudson County.
