With Spring in the air comes a celebration for Earth Day and what better way to pay homage to the environment than by bringing people together to enjoy the outdoors.
This is exactly what Union City had in mind as they celebrated Earth Day with their annual street fair.
Hundreds of families came out to the event to enjoy kid friendly fun. There were balloon animals, face painting, inflatable slides, and a live show with character favorites from Rosario Star.
Mayor Brian P. Stack briefly made an appearance and announced that 1000 more trees will be planted around Union City which is great for not only the community but also the environment.
There were nothing but smiles, dancing and laughter at the event and is definitely something that is looked forward to each year. Everyone who attended went home with free flower to take home and care for.
