On Friday July 20th, Union City Mayor Brian Stack and Commissioners rescinded their original objection to a Proposed North Bergen Power Plant in an unanimously vote during an emergency meeting.

According to the new resolution, “Union City wishes to allow North Bergen officials the opportunity to properly investigate the impact that the Power Plant will have on the safety of the public and other factors”.
