In a letter to parents and guardians dated Friday, August 18, West New York Early Childhood Program Principal Carol Zebrowski wrote that the 2020-2021 school year will begin remotely for all children in the town’s Early Childhood Program.
“Your child will not physically report to the school. Instead, instruction will be provided virtually. It will include various age-appropriate, academic activities for instruction. All the students will follow their school’s start/end times or assigned class meeting times when participating remotely.” The class period schedule is available on Twitter @wnyecc.
The first day of school for the West New York Early Childhood Program is Thursday, September 10. Beginning on that day, lunch will be available for pick-up from each school between 1 and 3 pm, Monday through Friday.
Parents should check the school’s website and Facebook page for updates in the coming days. The child’s teacher will send an invitation to the ready Rosie app.
